Tenor Banjo, Octave Mandola/Mandolin and Mandolin set in Tonbridge, Kent for sale

Tenor Banjo, Octave Mandola/Mandolin and Mandolin set

GDAE heaven! I am moving country and don't want to take these with me. Plus, I am moving onto the fiddle and there is no time to master that and keep playing these without confusing myself. The Banjo is the best of the three, sold by AndyBanjo. Lovely silky feel neck and great action. It's given me a lot of joy, but alas, it's time to say goodbye. It has been to a few sessions, but is in excellent condition, as you can see. It has a removable resonator. It has a distinctive sound that some have commented is flange-esque. The Octave Mandolin, I have hardly ever played. It is electro-acoustic, so ideal for plugging into amps and loop stations, if that is your thing. It's not an expensive one, but great for playing around on. The Mandolin is the bluegrass type, but of course fine for Irish/ UK traditional music too. It's made by Aria, so again not massively expensive, but not the cheapest out there either. The Banjo is sold with a hard case, The Octave Mandolin with a gig bag and the Mandolin with a hard case. I'm throwing in a guitar tuner, which works fine with these instruments, a silencer for the banjo and a good pick (in case you don't have one). The silencer transforms the banjo's sound into a sweet, quiet instrument. Just don't use it too much or you'll shock yourself when you play with it off. Great for practicing into the wee hours. Basically, this is a set for the enthusiastic beginner who loves a bit of variety. Or, someone who is interested in a good intermediate Tenor Banjo and wants a bit of variety sometimes. If you want some Banjo and Mandolin instruction books, I can throw in some of those too. I don't want to split them, sorry.
